The story is of Dipti, who loses an important election in her life. She gets an urge to kill herself, but a voice stops her.

The voice is of none other than that of Karl Marx! At first, it seems unbelievable to her that Karl Marx’s ghost is out on Earth after centuries, trying to motivate young revolutionaries to lead movements and bring a global communist revolution. He notices her plight in India and plans to help her in bringing the revolution to India. Whenever she needs guidance on what should she do next, his ghost guides her.

Her journey leads to a communist revolution in India and the book covers how society changes after that revolution.
